Titanium alloy vacuum components
Would you like to change the existing vacuum chamber and vacuum components to titanium alloy?
We have developed a technology that enables extremely low gas emission vacuum systems by using titanium alloys as materials for vacuum chambers and vacuum components. This allows for the rapid and easy attainment of ultra-high vacuum/vacuum levels. Titanium is inherently a suitable material for vacuum applications. It has many advantages, such as being lightweight, completely non-magnetic, having a low thermal expansion rate, and low thermal capacity. Our technology has added even more important characteristics for vacuum applications to this already excellent titanium material. - Through the development of surface treatment technology, we have been able to reduce gas emission by two to three orders of magnitude compared to stainless steel. This enables very fast evacuation to ultra-high vacuum levels. - The development of special titanium alloys has made it possible to create CF flanges, which are essential for ultra-high vacuum, with higher strength and hardness compared to stainless steel. - The development of manufacturing technology has made reliable welding and brazing of titanium, which was previously difficult, possible. This has enabled the production of various complex-shaped vacuum chambers and vacuum components.
